On-site, the Whithorn Dig Visitor Center features exhibits featuring materials found throughout years of digging. Sand and rocky shoreline make up the stunning coastline, which is rich with birdlife. Inland, the Galloway Hills and Forest Park offer some of the best trekking terrain in the world. Locally, sailing, cycling, and fishing are all possible, and there are many top-notch golf courses to keep the avid player occupied.
