Cosy, comfortable, squeaky clean two bed cottage was warm and very homely - we settled in immediately with our two dogs and our son and his partner.
Everything is provided except your food and washing powder (if you bother doing washing ;) ! ) and the heating and hot water are more than adequate. Take a robe or a couple of extra towels though, if you like an extra one for your hair etc. A lovely large garden area is pleasant to sit in (no midges to speak of) and have an evening drink. I sat and painted all the views on one lovely hot day. There is a huge mown field right next door, which our dogs loved and the view to the sea is wonderful!
Our hosts, Sue and Jon, are very friendly and welcoming and are always happy to help with a query.
Be warned - if you are a city-driver, your first journey up the lane to the cottage may appear to be a little surprising but it is actually fine - Jon gets his sports car up there and our 12 year old Meriva had no difficulty at all.
The beauty of this area cannot be overstated - postcard views round every corner and fresh seafood at almost every eatery. It is fairly isolated - which suited us perfectly - but totally accessible to Inverary, Lochgilphead, Craobh Haven and Oban - all pleasant drives on good roads with little other traffic.
Basically, I didn't want to come home and seriously want to live in that area - the people are so friendly and the dogs were absolutely spoiled by all the attention.
Loved it!
