September 2020
The cottage was clean and well presented, everything we needed for our 4 night stay with the outdoor space perfect for our two dogs .. .. a 2 acre paddock where they could run free. John, our host was very approachable offering advice as to where to visit etc. I highly recommend Mullach for a short break and to use a base for touring this part of Argyll. The entry road requires extra care but being pre-warned it was not a problem.

Our hosts are always welcoming and helpful, available if needed.. . A lovely little cottage in beautiful surroundings just right for our family and two spaniels. This is our second stay at The Mullach and is unlikely to be our last

It was a little disappointing that the access road was not up to standard, lots of potholes and also that the photos we first looked at when booking led us to believe that the sea was closer to the cottage than it actually was.. Having said that, the landlord was very helpful and pleasant and I would certainly visit again.

Very clean neat cottage with welcoming hosts.. On a high hill, secluded and quiet. Great paddock with for dog to run around - spectacular view from there. Recommended.

The cottage was lovely.. Well equipped, warm in the cold nights, clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet and peaceful with no road noise at all. The field was great for the dogs as they loved being able to run around in it (we kept them on leads a lot of the time when out and about because of the sheep and lambs) and we enjoyed the tremendous view. We'll need to come back as a week wasn't enough and we'd be very happy to spend two weeks there. John and Sue friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

Highly recommend the property.. Very warm and cosy. Sue and John were very welcoming and helpful. The dogs enjoyed the large paddock large enough for a good ball throw. Beautiful views down to the loch. Would definitely visit again.

We loved this immaculate, bright well decorated cottage and the hospitality of the hosts.. The location is stunning. A fabulous holiday thank you. Our host asked us if a hot tub would've improved our experience. For us absolutely not, it would've detracted from the raw natural beauty of this place.

Super cottage.. Spotlessly clean & brilliantly well appointed. Lovely, friendly owners. Phenomenal scenery & wildlife. Lovely local walks. Peaceful & restful. Good pubs near- by. Good shops 25 mins. Thank goodness no hot-tub as it would have spoilt the tranquility.

Cosy, comfortable, squeaky clean two bed cottage was warm and very homely - we settled in immediately with our two dogs and our son and his partner. Everything is provided except your food and washing powder (if you bother doing washing ;) ! ) and the heating and hot water are more than adequate. Take a robe or a couple of extra towels though, if you like an extra one for your hair etc. A lovely large garden area is pleasant to sit in (no midges to speak of) and have an evening drink. I sat and painted all the views on one lovely hot day. There is a huge mown field right next door, which our dogs loved and the view to the sea is wonderful! Our hosts, Sue and Jon, are very friendly and welcoming and are always happy to help with a query. Be warned - if you are a city-driver, your first journey up the lane to the cottage may appear to be a little surprising but it is actually fine - Jon gets his sports car up there and our 12 year old Meriva had no difficulty at all. The beauty of this area cannot be overstated - postcard views round every corner and fresh seafood at almost every eatery. It is fairly isolated - which suited us perfectly - but totally accessible to Inverary, Lochgilphead, Craobh Haven and Oban - all pleasant drives on good roads with little other traffic. Basically, I didn't want to come home and seriously want to live in that area - the people are so friendly and the dogs were absolutely spoiled by all the attention. Loved it!

The cottage was extremely clean, well equipped, and comfortable. The owners were most helpful and accommodating. An ideal location for our dogs, providing a secure and expansive area for them to play in. The location offers stunning views and nearby access to local beauty spots. This was our third visit to this cottage and we intend to return again.

The cottage is kept absolutely spotless. The owners were very welcoming and very approachable during our stay. The cottage is situated in stunning scenery and there is so much to do, we didn't have enough time to fit it all in a week so we will be going back next year for two weeks.

The cottage is beautiful and the owners couldn't be more helpful. The gardens and paddock are beautifully manicured and the scenery is just breathtaking. Our dogs settled straight away and loved the space to run around in. We enjoyed every minute!

October 2013
The cottage was snug and cosy, but with plenty of room for us. All modern conveniences, and a well-equipped kitchen. Plenty to do around and about, really interesting historical area, nice beaches and gardens. Pretty close to Oban for the supermarket, and enough places around to eat out for a short break. I would highly recommend this property to friends, and have already done so!

The cottage is in a beautiful location and is very safe if you have dogs or children. The hosts are great very funny and my husband was in heaven with all the toys available. The cottage is compact but has almost everything you need and it is very warm and cosy. The surrounding countryside is beautiful and the local Tesco makes shopping easy. We only need nice beaches and although it was a drive to the best one it was a great one. The cottage was very clean and well equipt apart from the lack of a dishwasher and a larger double bed would be better but these are very minor issues. We will go back.

Very clean and everything was supplied. The owners were very friendly. We expected to be cold in Scotland in February, but if anything, the heating in the cottage made us feel too warm!
