The apartment complex (identical holiday homes on a hillside) is located a little outside of Elba, meaning you need a car for all activities. The nearest attractive town, Porto Azzuro, is about a 15-20 minute drive away. The nearest beach (5 minutes) is nice, but there are much more attractive beaches on Elba. The furnishings in the house were very basic, especially in the kitchen area. The mattresses were very hard and you could feel each individual spring.

We were particularly satisfied with the friendliness and helpfulness of the facility manager, who was delivered to us in excellent hygienic conditions. Maybe the house could be better equipped, but even as it is it can go. The location of the village makes it an ideal starting point for visiting the eastern part of the island.

The property has been described as not handicapped accessible. There were 55 steps to our accommodation - basically not a problem, but there was no way to drive to the holiday home for loading and unloading... especially problematic on arrival and departure. There were no coffee maker and no kettle available. There were no outlets in the kitchen or living room.

The villas are very well maintained and of adequate size. the only negative note are the many steps that separate from the car which if in normal days it is not a problem with shopping and suitcases can be a bit annoying.

The accommodation is very neat and clean! The manager is very helpful and friendly! The only drawback is the absence of a parasol, so we had to have breakfast in the full sun in the morning! The stairs to our house were a tough walk to sight! That was not clear to us in advance!

Nice and well-designed holiday home with unfortunately very hard beds. There is almost no information material at all, as we know it from other accommodation providers. The beach, 1.5 km away, is largely occupied and used by a large holiday complex and is not very attractive in itself, so that one is forced to take the car every day.
