Villa Castagnoli Villa 3

A review always depends on attitude ;-) We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the house, but it must be mentioned that not everything is perfect. One bathroom occasionally had an unpleasant smell, and in one, water leaked from the wall when you turned on the faucet. And the pool wasn't cleaned, which isn't really necessary at 15 degrees Celsius and below at the end of the season, but we still went for a swim. Some doors are difficult to open (old house, uneven floors).

The area and the house and its facilities are an absolute eye-catcher. The accommodation was well equipped and very clean. Unfortunately, the house was not properly handed over and the contact person only speaks very broken English. The hot water didn't work for the first two days and one of the bathrooms was unusable. In another bathroom, water ran down from the ceiling when it rained and only one of the three bathrooms could be locked.

Everything was fine, good bedrooms, suitable for several families with small children. Nice pool and everything was well taken care of.

We spent two weeks in Borgo Castagnoli and enjoyed the spacious Villa with well equipped kitchen, spacious living room, comfortable bedrooms, private and very picturesque outdoor dining area, grill and garden. The villa and outdoor area are clean and very well kept. The pool and parking space is shared with other 2 apartments, but we always found there enough space to feel comfortable (and very often were the only people at the pool). A great spot to relax, surrounded by forests and hills.

The house is clean, well equipped with charm. But the property is divided into several rented accommodations. Environment not intimate, noisy according to other tenants. The swimming pool is not private as indicated in the description but shared.
