Best suited to a short break, the kitchen is compact and, at full occupancy, two guests will sleep on a sofa bed in the living area. But if you can look past that, you’re onto a winner. Set on a quiet residential street in the vibrant Santo Spirito quarter, you get the best of both worlds here. The city’s must-sees, including the Duomo, are within easy walking distance. And when thoughts turn to food, the trattorias of Santo Spirito’s nearby piazza are a fine place to start.
