Inside, the rooms are cosy and characterful, including one that sleeps four and is ideal for young families. And when it’s time to head out and explore, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Will it be dinner and drinks in nearby Cetona, or a day trip to the UNESCO-listed Val d’Orcia? Whatever your plans, this is a perfect pad for seeing more of Tuscany.

*One of the double bedrooms has a mezzanine level with two single beds, which works well for families with little ones who want to share a room.
*There's a small vegetable garden here. During the summer, you can help yourself to vegetables and fresh herbs when you're cooking.
*Your host provides four bikes for guests to use to explore the local area.
*The swimming pool isn't fenced. If you're bringing little ones, they'll need to be supervised at all times.
*If you're travelling with little ones, your host can provide a cot and high chair for free. You'll need to request them in advance.
