Capo Testa

The apartment is very close to the beaches, about a 5-minute walk. There's a shortcut through the field (2 minutes to the beach), but the path is unpaved and you'll scratch your legs. The driveway is impractical for less-than-good drivers. It's extremely narrow and probably inaccessible to larger cars. The apartment has no air conditioning, and the closets smell quite musty, probably because it's always humid. The garden is neglected and overgrown.

The vacation rental looks great online, but the reality is different. The garden and terrace are completely neglected and overgrown. Furniture, windows, and doors are old and peeling. The entire apartment smells moldy and musty. Everything seems very unkempt. This in no way reflects the price paid.

The two-story terraced house, very close to a beautiful bay, was very clean. It had a fantastic view and, despite being close to the beach, was quietly located on a (very narrow!) cul-de-sac. The kitchen was very well equipped. We really liked it.
