Calandre Suite Apartment 2

Booking was straightforward. Information was provided via WhatsApp chat, which was in Italian. The driveway to the parking lot was very steep. The apartment was well-maintained and well-furnished. The kitchen lacked a microwave and the shower was moldy. The bed was small and very hard. The ceiling fan was worth its weight in gold. The pictures in the ad weren't up-to-date. The sea view was fantastic. The terrace was large and furnished with various items of furniture. A small washing machine was a plus. The kitchen was well-equipped. The area was quiet. The beach below was very crowded.

The view from the terrace was fantastic, but when we arrived at the apartment around 4:30 p.m., there was only construction noise from apartment 6A: chiseling, drilling, and hammering. This noise was unbearable every day until our departure. Videos are available. On top of that, the particulate matter prevented my wife from having asthma. Direct access to the beach via the street to Calandre Mare, with a lift to the beach, only 3 minutes away. All neighbors have a transponder chip. The 1.8 km walk with a 120 m drop is unreasonable. We won't be booking this apartment again.

Wonderful terrace, studio is functional and stylishly furnished, bed is a bit narrow but mattress is good. Support for self-check-in was very clear and when there were problems with a power outage, useful advice was given very promptly. The driveway by car is quite steep, the designated parking space is not marked, we had to ask another owner for it.

Unfortunately, the apartment next door was being renovated during our stay, construction noise from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. was sometimes very annoying, we were mostly out and about during the day, but would have liked to have slept longer

Small but mighty is the motto here. Apartment is modernly furnished and functional. The bed could be wider, but it's ok for two who like to be together. The terrace is the highlight with a beautiful view of the sea.
