Area Located in between the villages of Kilcolgan and Kinvarra lies Ballinderreen in south Galway. The village has a shop and a pub and is close to the sandy beach at Tracht, and Morans Oyster Cottage, a delightful thatched cottage that has been turned into a charming restaurant. Ballinderreen rests along the main route from Galway to County Clare and encompasses some of the most stunning coastal scenery you will ever see, and will take you as far as the friendly village of Lisdoonvarna, which hosts the annual match making festival.
Region Towering cliffs stand next to vast stretches of golden sand, whilst vast mountain ranges cradle cool, low-lying lakes. The Galway region epitomises the term ‘great outdoors’; with fantastic walking and cycling and exhilarating water sports.

This is an a wonderful little cottage to retreat to from the world, quiet .... This is an a wonderful little cottage to retreat to from the world, quiet secluded yet within a short drive to shop facilities or Galway town itself, the owner Mr Larkin is a gentleman and my wife and I look forward to returning again and again

This apartment was lovely and very comfortable.. It had everything you would want in a holiday home and the owner was really helpful and welcoming. The location is beautiful and you can walk to the small harbour which is very pleasant. However there’s no amenities in walking distance so be prepared to get in the car if you want a shop or pub.
The only thing that could be improved was the living area was quite small in comparison to the lovely spacious bedrooms. With 3 adults & a toddler it would have been better to have a bit more living area space. However this didn’t spoil our holiday.

The owner of the cottage was very welcoming and accommodating and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.. The views were breathtaking - we could watch the tide come in and out from the cottage window. A lovely, enjoyable, and restful holiday.
