Four miles away from Rossaveel is Aer Arann, which is a small airport with daily flights to the Aran Islands.There's plenty of attractions in the area, including Spiddal village, Connemara National Park, Kylemore Abbey, Pearse’s Cottage Rosmuc, Galway Bay and the Aran islands. Home to unspoilt landscapes, traditional cottages, stunning seascapes and authentic Irish charm.

Region
Towering cliffs stand next to vast stretches of golden sand, whilst vast mountain ranges cradle cool, low-lying lakes. The Galway region epitomises the term ‘great outdoors’; with fantastic walking and cycling and exhilarating water sports.

Fuel, power and starter pack for fire inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off-road parking for 4 or 5 cars. Lawned garden to the front and side. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub mins walk. Note: Spiral open-tread staircase leading up to the first floor mezzanine area, children to be supervised. Note: Walkway at mezzanine level contains low ceilings, care to be taken.

Lovely cottage.. Unfortunately, it was a bit cold & damp when we arrived, but the owner was there the next day to adjust timer on heating. Also washing machine wouldn't work. Again there was a new washing machine installed within 24hrs. Would recommend this lovely cottage, for a family group, although you do need a car as there is not a lot to do in the area

The cottage and their owners was really cool! I was un Ireland to shoot a movie with my Team on Aran Islands and the cottage near the harbour of Rossaveel was really good situated. I recomand this place: -)
