With the West Cork Railway Village, leisure centre, cinema and an abundance of local beaches, Clonakilty is a great family destination, and is a town that knows how to please its visitors. Only 8 miles away lies the town of Rosscarbery, which dates back to the 6th century. Nowadays, it benefits from a lovely laid-back, relaxed atmosphere, with quaint little shops, good Irish pubs and quality restaurants. Rosscarbery is in close proximity to 3 fine beaches, with its own Blue Flag Warren Beach. Those who enjoy water sports are well catered for, and there are great opportunities for walking, cycling and golf.
