We fell in love with this home because of its awe-inspiring outside space. The infinity pool is filled with crystal-clear water that falls into a canal, giving the illusion of an endless blue expanse. A line of loungers beckons – put your feet up and sip chilled cocktails in the sun. With multiple places to dine al fresco, you may feel tempted to cook up a storm in the well-outfitted kitchen. We'd recommend starting with a simple Greek salad, or requesting a private chef if you'd rather leave it to the pros.

Drive to Limnonari Beach, a tree-fringed cove that encapsulates all that is special about Greece – translucent water, reliably blue skies and magical surroundings, to name but a few. Skopelos town sits at the east of the island, a patchwork of sugar cube buildings with terracotta rooves. Wind through stone-paved streets before finding a waterfront taverna to while away the evening.
