There's a playground, outdoor pool (with a dedicated shallow section), and a football field – and the open-plan terrace means it's easy to keep little ones in sight while you barbecue. Anyone looking to slip away for a workout can do so in the fully-equipped gym, and the upstairs balcony is the perfect spot for after-dinner, adults-only drinks with a sea view. In the unlikely chance you do find yourself idle at any moment (the interiors might be a little uninspiring for long days at home), Chania is just a twenty-minute drive away – and the nearest beach even closer.
