While it’s not the most luxurious home in our collection, Vinyl Union is located in popular Prenzlauer Berg and within easy access to the many trendy cafés, restaurants and parks. We love the bright living room that’s the natural heart of the home and custom-made for socialising, although both the bedroom and the bathroom fall short of it. You’ll also find a record player and huge, varied vinyl collection that’s great for a night-in.

* There’s currently no home manual, so you’ll have to ask for help on how to work the appliances
* This home is located on the second floor with no elevator - be prepared for some up and down
* When we visited, the wifi wasn’t as fast as we would like it to be
* We also noticed some scuff marks on the walls
* It is a lived-in home - expect to share the space with some of the host’s belongings
* The bathroom is a bit tired-looking and could do with an update
* The bed is on the smaller side
