It feels very authentic and personal with subtle touches of Indian art and patterns (Rajeev is from south India). Complete with plenty of cosy nooks to kick back and read a book, it’s also a home that’s brimming with natural light and a warm, welcoming home away from home atmosphere.

Home truths:
*Guests 3 and 4 would be on a futon in the living room
*If you’re staying for a longer period, the host would like your help to water the plants
*It’s on the second floor with no lift – not everyone will love the free work-out
*We know we’re picky, but the bedding isn’t as luxurious as we would like it to be
