With a balcony that overlooks exclusive Kurfürstendamm (known as Ku’damm among locals), it doesn’t get more central than Cherry on Top. Tiergarten is moments away and exclusive KaDeWe is just across the street. It ticks all the boxes when it comes to location, as well as design. The host is an interior designer, so expect great attention to detail. We love the bio ethanol fireplace, and the soothing atmosphere combined with quirky artworks and cosy materials.

*As this home is on the top floor with no lift, you’ll have to be prepared to climb a lot of stairs (115 steps to be exact)
*There’s no AC – and since it’s the top floor, it does get warm in summer
*This home does not accept toddlers or children
*When we visited, the wifi wasn’t as fast as we would have liked it to be
