Simple, nice holiday home in a quiet location, restaurants, cafes, supermarket, shops within walking distance, Royan can also be reached on foot via the beautiful beach/river promenade. Good location for trips to La Rochelle, Ile d'Oléron, etc.

We lived in an absolutely good location, because the beach, bakery, fruit and vegetable stand, as well as a supermarket and gas station were easy to reach on foot (approx. 10 minutes). The city center of Vaux-sur-Mer and Royan can also be easily reached on foot. The cottage is simple but equipped with everything you need. A bit of a pity is the not so pleasant smell of the raffia carpets that greets you when you enter the house, which initially detracts from the otherwise positive impression.

Beach at 300m, Pontaillac at 1km, everything is as described. Too bad the pillows are bad. The veranda does nothing, we preferred to stay on the terrace in front of the house. The street is not very busy, so it does not interfere.
