Also close by is the town of Hebden Bridge known as the Pennine Centre, it takes its name from the packhorse bridge over Hebden Water . Bradford home of The National Media Museum and the famous Alhambra Theatre is just a short distance away. You can also enjoy a great curry in one of the many authentic restaurants. Over yonder is Halifax where you will find Peace Hall Market and Eureka the National Children's Museum in one direction and in the other, Colne where you can enjoy shopping at Boundary Mills. Saltaire Mill where David Hockney houses his works of art is also within easy reach. Oxenhope is also an ideal base for visiting the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District.
