Description
These converted stables make for a peaceful, rustic escape. Whether you're planning country walks on the South Downs, a trip down to the coast or little more than reading in the cosy living room, everything here should be done at a leisurely pace. The home is set in seven acres of lush green land – yours for the exploring. Inside, it's a lovely mix of country chic and clean modern lines, with a feature reclaimed wood wall, comfy sofa and plenty of homely touches. It's only half an hour from Brighton by car, with some excellent pubs nearby, and if you're into wine, you'll be keen to visit the local vineyards.
Home truths: *The stairs are quite narrow so it may not be suitable for small children
*There's no TV to distract from your rural retreat
*The kitchen has a hob and microwave, but please note there's no cooker and no freezer
*Those who prefer a supported sleep may want to look elsewhere - the mattresses here are on the softer side
*The heating doesn't get turned on before your arrival - expect a chilly welcome in the winter seasons Amenities
