From the moment you arrive you really feel as though you’re in your coastal retreat… so switch off your mobile, kick off your shoes and just chill!
Accommodation is over two floors with two bedrooms on the first floor and living space on the ground floor. The delightful kitchen has a small stripped pine table, pretty painted units, wicker storage shelves and Belfast sink in addition to the usual appliances. Retire to the sitting room after a hectic day on the beach, relax on the soft blue sofa put your feet up- the woodburning stove is perfect for the cooler evenings. Upstairs the master bedroom has a Victorian fireplace and elegant armchair and the second bedroom has a couple of twin beds, perfect for children and adults alike. Both bedrooms have partial sea views too. Lovely touches like the driftwood fish, old ship’s signage and model boat add to the coastal charm, and this really is a charming coastal cottage.
Trinity Cottage lies in the Heart of Southwold in popular Trinity Street so it’s just a short stroll to the many delightful shops, delis, cafes and restaurants in the town - perfect for a coffee and cake while indulging in a little retail therapy.
The whole coastline beckons… it’s just a short walk to the sea with the picturesque pastel beach huts. Stroll along the upper promenade, beautiful at any time of year. A visit to Southwold wouldn’t be complete without heading off to the pier, dating back to the 1900’s, it was originally built as a landing point for the steamships which use to stop off at the town. Don’t forget to visit the lighthouse - this distinctive landmark at the centre of the town has been guiding vessels into the historical harbour since the late 1800’s.
