Mr Palmer
January 2018
The Cottage was converted in the 90's, I don't think the bathroom has been updated since, the ceiling light didn't work and the only light was from the light on the mirror, the owner ( I don't know their name as they didn't introduce themselves ) was told twice, but nothing was done.. The kitchen was good and the bedroom was fine, but the lounge area was oddly depressing, could be with some pictures and better lighting.
We particularly wanted Wi-Fi, but we unable to connect during our stay, we are early rises and in the winter can pass a couple of hours in the dark, but once again the owner was most unhelpful.
There is a sign of the farmhouse advising " Beware of the Dogs" they are right, 2 unpleasant dogs greeted us when leaving the cottage with hackles up and baring teeth, the owner assured us they were fine, but disconcerting, our dog was terrified of them.
We decided we had had enough and left a day early, an expensive stay.
