Area
Set in the heat of Shropshire is the market town of Church Stretton. The town is home to a range of walking spots, including Long Mynd, Carding Mill Valley and Caer Caradoc. The town also plays hosts to a range of shops, pubs and restaurants to explore during your stay.

Region
A E Houseman once wrote that Shropshire was “the quietest place under the sun” and today the county remains something of a rural idyll, recognised as one of the least crowded and most peaceful regions in England.

Cot, highchair and stair gate available. Hot tub. No private outside area. Off-road parking available. Two well-behaved pets allowed. Sorry, no smoking. Closet pub is within 500m and the local shop can be found within 1.5 miles. Note: There is a fishing pool available with carp. The owner provides a day ticket at an extra cost. there is no requirement to book for fishing.

We stayed for a long weekend with two children and 4 adults. The cottage is clean and tidy and had lovely features including two first floor beamed bedrooms. The local pub is a few minute walk away and is dog friendly. The main village of little Stretton is about a 20 min walk away. The hot tub is lovely and added a real special touch to our stay. Definately would recommend and hoping to come again next year.

We stayed here at the end of July for a long weekend. There was six of us and there was plenty of room for us all. We loved the hot tub, the bedrooms were all of good size. Cottage was clean when we arrived and felt like precautions were in place due to Covid. Cottage is close to the long mynd and national trust site which we walked around. There is a pub only a 5 minute walk away, the food was fantastic. Great location and place to stay. The only thing we missed was having our own garden area, however some of the cottages did have a private garden. If returning, I would book one of the cottages with a private garden. A fantastic stay!

Everything you could need was provided in the house, the beds were comfortable and it was always warm.. The Jacuzzi was beautiful and exactly what we all needed after a long walk in the hills. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting a comfortable weekend away in the countryside.

Very impressed with this recent adaptation to an old barn.. The owners were very helpful. Turned the heating on, welcomed us with a home made cake, helped us understand the way the television operated, etc. Great location. Very comfortable. Would certainly recommend this property.

Beautiful place we really enjoyed it, only a couple of things we didn't like the .... Beautiful place we really enjoyed it, only a couple of things we didn't like the hot tub wasn't very private and the gas hob was working didn't have a plug on or anything so struggled to cook but other than that it was lovely and we would defo stay there again
