Only six miles away is Ludlow, one of the most beautiful towns in Britain which is renowned for its shopping, restaurants, tea rooms, pubs, inns and Ludlow castle. Within easy reach are Church Stretton, Shrewsbury, Leominster, Hereford, Cleobury Mortimer, Ironbridge Gorge, Severn Valley Railway, West Midlands Safari Park, Acton Scott Historic Farm, Berrington Hall and the Cardingmill Valley.
