The cabin, although on the owner's land is not at all overlooked; the view from lounge/dinner window to the front is across the courtyard to the Shropshire hills of Ludlow and beyond. Lovely sunsets. To the back, your view is of the small, private patio/garden, which is where you will find the hot tub and garden table and chairs.
The cabin was spotlessly clean and very well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. It even had egg cups! For those thinking of a longer stay, the bedroom has lots of storage. It ahould be noted that there is no waahing machine or dishwasher. When we arrived, our hosts had left half a dozen local eggs, a loaf of delicious bread from the bakery, 2 pints of milk and a couple of portions of butter, jam and marmalade. There was also teabags and some instant coffee. Meaning, if you arrive late (as we did) your first breakfast is taken care of.
The bathroom has a large walk-in shower, no bath (but who needs that when you have a hot tub). There were two large bath towels, two robes, disposable slippers and lots of hand towels. More than enough for us.
Should the need arise, there was also plenty of cleaning cloths, washing up liquid etc.
Top tip: The bedroom doesn't have a window, it has a glazed door. If the handle is vertical, it opens as you'de expect a door to do. If the handle is horizontal, it opens hinged from the bottom as a window, just pull towards you. This gives good airflow securely.
The cabin has two huge TVs (at least by our standards) plus bluetooth speakers and wifi.
The hosts, Jane, Anthony and Dude the dog were incredibly friendly and generous with their time, inviting us to explore their 6 acres of land. If you find anything missing, I am sure Jane and Anthony will do their best to sort you out.
I heartily recommend a stay here.
