Very good holiday accommodation, the house very well equipped, everything seemed new.. The location was excellent, even though near the main street it was very quiet. The Co-op was just across the main street. We found both pubs to be good particularly The Queens Head. Everyone was friendly and obliging no matter where we went.
"Cragside" is a "must" what an amaxing man Thomas Armstrong was. Bamburgh Castle, Keilder Water and the Roman fort at Housestead all worth visiting. We avoided the A1 and had found the roads quiet and very scenic.
