This single-storey cottage has two bedrooms, a king-size and a twin, along with a bathroom and an additional WC. There’s also a kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Appliances include an electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, and for entertainment there is a TV, DVD player and WiFi. Outside, there is off-road parking for three cars and an enclosed front garden and a rear patio with furniture. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price, but please bear in mind that logs for the woodburning stove are not included. One well-behaved pet is welcome but sorry, no smoking. You can find a shop within 2.4 miles and a pub within 0.4 miles. Barnacles is an ideal dwelling for a seaside getaway. Check-in from 4pm and check-out by 10am.

The village is famous for its beautiful sandy beach, which provides a picture-perfect backdrop for a stroll along the coast. Other nearby points of interest include the historic Howick Hall Gardens & Arboretum, the Ratcheugh, and other coastal paths. The Bathing House and The Running Fox are two of the local restaurants, and a convenience store is close by for last-minute purchases.
