The cottage is located in the pretty village of Acomb close to the River Tyne, with its own pub/restaurant, local farm shops, walking and cycle routes from the cottage.

Stroll through countryside to the historic market town of Hexham where you can explore a range of shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants, visit the Abbey, spend a day at the races, stroll along the riverbanks or picnic in the park. The World Heritage Site of Hadrian s Wall is only a 3 mile walk, at the edge of the Northumberland National Park and Roman Vindolanda is a great day out.
