The open-plan living space includes a kitchen housing an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, electric woodburning stove and Smart TV. The bedrooms include a double and a twin, serviced by a bathroom. To the outside is off-road parking for one car and a veranda with furniture. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included in rent. Within 3.6 miles there is a shop and within 1.2 miles there is a pub. This property accepts two pets however smoking is not allowed. Pinecone Lodge – No 9 is a lovely escape, whatever time of year. Note: No barbecues are allowed at the property or anywhere on the holiday park. Please note this property does not accept stag/hen parties or similar and the site operates a quiet time policy between 10pm and 8 am

The village itself has a shop, pub, and restaurant. The castle is also well-known for its role in the "Harry Potter" film series, where it served as the location of Hogwarts. There is plenty to do and see in the area around Alnwick, including visiting the town's many shops, pubs, and restaurants as well as taking a boat out to the nearby Farne Islands. The perfect base from which to discover Northumberland and the rest of the county's beautiful Heritage Coast.
