Bamburgh is famous for its three miles of wonderful sandy beach as well as a choice of shops, tearooms, pubs and restaurants. A mile away is the pretty village of Lucker, and there are several other castles nearby including Dunstanburgh and Warkworth. You can take boat trips to Holy Island or to the bird sanctuaries on the Farne Islands and Budle Bay is also ideal for bird watchers.
