Area Wooler is a small town in Northumberland, lying on the edge of the Northumberland National Park near the Cheviot Hills. This area is popular for walkers and is locally known as the 'Gateway to the Cheviots'. The town has shops and pubs, along with a youth hostel and campsites. Wooler is near to some larger historic towns such as Alnwick, and Berwick-upon-Tweed. The A697 links the town with Morpeth and Coldstream on the Scottish Border.
