Woodman Cottage is an end-terrace cottage in the Yorkshire market town of Skipton. The cottage sleeps two people and has a double bedroom, a bathroom, a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and a woodburner. Outside is a small seating area and off road parking. Skipton provides an excellent base to enjoy the many delights of the famous town. A short stroll takes guests to the Medieval Castle, the lively canal basin, the fabulous four day market and many excellent pubs and restaurants. An ideal base for discovering the Dales, Woodman Cottage is a superb holiday home for couples all year round. . Parking spaces just round the corner and there’s also a pay and display car park five mins walks away which costs £15 per week to park Note: The stairs are slightly steep and a little narrower than standard. Note: The stable door from the kitchen leads out to a shared alleyway leading to the front of the cottage. Please note: There is parking spaces for loading and unloading outside the cottage. Please note: x7 night bookings require a Friday check in

The market town of Skipton, known as the The Gateway to the Dales offers canal trips, steam railway rides, golf, restaurants, shops and tea rooms. The Yorkshire Dales National Park and the Bronte Country are close by and are well worth a visit.

The cottage made all the difference.. It was like being at home - that was the impression we got when we first opened the door. Everything that we could have needed was provided and it all worked! There was even a Nespresso machine and for us that's a big plus. The cottage was quirky in the nicest possible way; there were so many personal touches that it felt almost as though we knew the owner(s) - pity we didn't quite meet them. It was so handy for the town centre - just a short walk, and the parking area next to the cottage worked well (in that we always managed to get parked there). If we need a cottage in Skipton again this is where we'll want to be. I can't praise this cottage highly enough - so much better than we could have imagined. Oh, and another thing - the bathroom (bath and shower) was a dream; then again, it all was.

Absolutely delighted with the cottage.. Very well equipped. Lovely hamper met us with bread, milk, fruit etc and written welcome on board. Owner had also been extremely accommodating by allowing us to alter our booking dates due to family circumstances. We really hope to stay again.

Lovely well kept and clean cottage, the positioning to Skipton was ideal for us just a nice walk to the centre and facilities.. The lack of car parking wasnt a problem as there was on road parking just around the corner and we never used the car all weekend. The welcome basket was an added bonus.

The cottage was very cozy, comfortable and very clean.. Everything you needed home from home. Welcome tray well stocked with all the basics milk, bread, coffee, tea, fruit, butter,biscuits and even wine. Plenty of hot water and towels. We would highly recommend to our family and friends. One of the best we have ever stayed in!
