At the base of Buckden Pike, near the head of Upper Wharfedale is where you will find the picturesque village of Buckden. Home to the Buck Inn and a village supermarket, Buckden serves those wanting to explore the Yorkshire Dales with all their amenities. Visitors can hike the close-by Birks Fell, before venturing back into the village to tour the National Trust properties of Town Head Barn and The Old Smithy. This unspoilt area of the Yorkshire Dales National Park is an idyllic location for a rural escape!
