Pear Tree Cottage is a stylish semi-detached cottage placed in the village of Dunnington in Yorkshire. It comes with two bedrooms made up of a double with an en-suite and a twin, there is also a family bathroom, the property can sleep four people. Also inside you will find an open-plan living area with a kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. To the outside there is plenty of off road parking and a shared lawn garden. Pear Tree Cottage is a warming cottage in a fabulous Yorkshire location.

Area
A village packed with history and culture, based in the countryside just outside of York. Dunnington won the 2014 Britain in Bloom competition for small villages. The village has shops and pubs as well as a Fabric Gallery and a library. York sits 5 miles away, it has much to offer with stunning buildings and amazing history.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

This was a very well presented cottage with all the facilities that you would need.. Perfectly located for york, dales and moors. Gary and Gillian provided a lovely welcome pack a d were very helpful. Had a great time there, would highly recommend this cottage.

A unique and lovely cottage in a great location (near university, city and ring road - so also great for visits further afield).. The cottage is newly built in an airy, open plan style, with a more traditional exterior. This made for a very pleasant surprise on arrival, where we also met with fresh scones, jam, and wine! Very welcome! The cottage is well equipped and warm, and the beds are very comfy. Would highly recommend. Many thanks for a very pleasant stay. We would love to return.

Felt comfortable as soon as we walked in.. Near to shops pub and takeaways. Underfloor heating kept the property warm and pleasant. Pictures online don't do it justice.

Gorgeous cottage for our weekend stay.. It had everything we needed and little touches such as wine on arrival and a cream tea in the fridge made us feel really welcome. I would definitely come back to this cottage.

We were pleasantly surprised 'cause the house was fully equipped with everything you may need and even a bit more, from coffee, tea & milk to dishwasher tablets, toiletries etc.. . My family and i had a wonderful time, the host was extremely helpful, friendly & kind was all clean and tidy easy to find (except for the heating system) we would love to get back as we really enjoyed it, my only criticism would be that i found the bed a little bit uncomfortable otherwise all great.

Pear tree cottage was beautifully furnished, finished and spotlessly clean.. So close to York and its attractions yet surrounded by lovely countryside. The welcome pack of scones and cream was a nice touch from the very friendly owners. We wouldn't hesitate to book again and look forward to returning.

Pear Tree Cottage is spacious, well equipped and is perfectly located to explore the attractions in and around York.. From the individually heated rooms, wonderful showers to the log burner considerable thought and attention to detail has gone into the cottage. We were the first booking for this property and were blown away by the quality of the accommodation.. The photos do not do it justice. It is beautifully finished and so spacious with everything you could want. Gary the owner is a great guy and really friendly (without being on top of you). York is around £15 away by taxi which made this property ideal for us as we didn’t have to worry about parking etc. Thank you for a lovely stay and we loved the scones, chocolate, crisps and wine that we’re waiting for us when we arrived! - a lovely thoughtful touch! :)
