Nowhere is this fact more obvious than in the wooden ceiling beams in the living area and the timber frames seen in other rooms. Despite these prominent period features, the bulk of the interior is actually quite modern, with cleansingly white walls, en vogue wooden floorboards and a sleek white kitchen.
