The Old Mill, a single-storey cottage, consists of a kitchen with a microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster, and a living/dining room with an open fire, a TV, dining table, oven and hob. The bedroom consists of a double, serviced by an en-suite walk-in shower. Outside, there is a small enclosed front garden with patio and furniture, plus private, off-road parking for one car. WiFi, fuel, power, starter pack for open fire provided for 5 nights or more during the winter months. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Two well-behaved pets welcome, but sorry, no smoking. Take a trip to the picturesque harbour and lighthouse to watch the sun set or get involved in some whale watching or a coastal cruise to watch the creatures up close. Climb the famous 199 steps to the Whitby Abbey to immerse yourself with history, or visit the Captain Cook Memorial Museum presenting historical and ethnographic exhibition about Cook himself.
