Area
The rural village of Sneaton is situated just 3 miles from Whitby, and 21 miles from Scarborough. On the main street you will find a local, traditional pub and close by is Beacon Farm, which produces wonderful ice cream and also has a tea room and farm shop. This area is great for walkers with numerous public footpaths can be found around the village, including Monks Trod; an ancient stone path that monks followed to worship.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.

Shop 1.2 miles, pub 10 mins walk. Note: Please note the sofa bed is for flexibility. Note: Property is on a country road. Note: The apartment is through the main front black door, however it is located in the building to the left which you can see in the photos. Please note this property only accepts children over 12 years of age. Please note: any short breaks of less than a week should fall between a Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday. Please note: for weekly bookings this property only accepted Friday to Friday.

The apartment was very tastefully decorated and wanted for nothing, even down to the smallest detail it was equipped with all that you needed.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would happily go back again. We're not strangers to Whitby but it's been many years since we were last there and it was great to see both old and new aspects of the area, all-in-all, about as good as it gets.

Apartment 4 at Sneaton Hall had everything we needed for a romantic break; stunningly decorated and high quality furnishings made for a comfortable stay.. The log burner was lovely to sit in front of in the evening. The location is perfect to tour the North York Moors - we enjoyed visiting Robin Hood's Bay to find fossils, Ravenscar to see the seals and of course fish and chips in Whitby! We enjoyed a number of walks too: Monk's Trail is on the door step and May Beck & Falling Foss are only a short distance away. Highly recommend

Lovely spacious apartment which made a good case for exploring Whitby and surrounding areas.. Lots if helpful advice in the cottage which really helped us plan our visit.
