Lovely cottage. Very clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Flowers and welcome coffee, tea and milk much appreciated. The patio is a little suntrap but really needs weeding to make it more appealing to sit out . We had a wonderful stay in these strange times.

We recently stayed at Mayfield Manor which exceeded our expectations.. The pictures do not do it justice as it is nicer than it looks in the pictures. The master bedroom is lovely, and the house was very clean. It is about a 15 minute walk to Whitby, but we didn't find it too bad and at least we could get a parking space. We would definitely go back.

We loved this house! Everything you need from home to home. So relaxing. Short walk to the town. Only £6 to get home if you don’t want walk in a taxi. Parked on the road outside no problem. Will definitely return Cheers Clare and Steve

A very well equipped property.. Comfortable beds, within easy walking distance of the town. Only one gripe, it could do with a deep clean, attention to detail on socket tops, sash windows need cleaning to remove cobwebs and dead flies.

The house was lovely and warm and beds extremely comfortable.. The only thing I would say which didn't affect our holiday was the house was in need of a proper deep clean to remove cobwebs and the general dustiness . Tops of kitchen cupboards are in desparate need to a wash down. The main thing though was the beds which were very clean and comfortable and as previously stated the house was lovely and warm. We were given a key marked summerhouse but there didn't appear To be a summerhouse. I asked at garden centre where key collected and they appeared oblivious also.

We had a lovely time.. We appreciated the travel cot and the high chair. Would recommend that they sharpen the knives and maybe add some small knives and weighing scales to the kitchen.

Lovely spacious house with only a short walk into Whitby and surrounding countryside.. The garden area/seating was not very pleasant and could have been cleaner - the only negative comment we could make about the property. Other than that it was excellent.

The house was lovely and warm when we walked in and a beautiful Christmas tree was stood in one corner.. We loved it plus was dog friendly and having 3 dogs we struggle to find somewhere nice that will take us! Only criticism was there was a DVD player but no dvds so we had to go out and buy films. Everywhere I've stayed there are at least a few. Will book again
