Cant praise this place highly enough.Top quality throughout in every respect.Incredibly spacious living room and bedrooms.Lovely views of The river Esk and the steam trains passing by and the harbour right down to the lighthouse.Everything you need is contained in this gem of place and the kitchen has all you need if your staying in for your meals.Town is 5/10 minute walk away. Dont waste your time looking for self contained accommodation in Whitby.Book this place,you WON'T be disappointed.

Accessible flat - lift access. Spacious - even with 4 kids! Comfortable beds. Great views. Feels homely - not just a holiday home. Loafs of wardrobe space. Washer/dryer a great assest with lots of kids. Clean. Fully equipped self catering - better than most I've stayed in. Great car parking. Location just out of centre so quieter but within walking distance of everything you need. Easy key handover. Would recommend this apartment to families or couples alike.

What can we add? Just fantastic! The whole apartment was amazing from the views to the excellent facilities...comfy beds, great TV, comfy sofas and window seating, well-equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Very kind and welcoming caretaker who looked after our bags until check in time. Perfect position for walking into Whitby about 15 mins and there is a chip shop locally and a good tavern. We also walked to the local Sainsbury's which is about 25 mins away. Excellent walking in the area to and very easy to walk to Ruswarp. Can't praise this place enough! Love it!

The apartment is in a perfect position next to the river.. It has everything needed for a home from home. Fantastic quality of furnishing etc. Such a great place to rest relax and experience Whitby and all it has to offer.

The apartment had a really lovely feel to it.. Everything we needed was to hand and with only a short walk into Whitby town centre it was an ideal setting for a holiday- either a mini break or something longer. In fact, it was really difficult to tear ourselves away from the window seat!

Excellent location, close enough to walk into town but far enough away to be quiet.. The property is very comfortable and equipped, with fantastic views of the train and down into the town. Caretaker very friendly with good information on hand.

The apartment was excellent in every way.. We are disabled and it was easily accessible and very comfortable. The views are fantastic and I never tired of looking out over the Juliette balcony. It is very well situated for exploring Whitby and the rest of the east coast, we had wonderful trips to Scarborough and Bridlington. A visit to the rspb reserve at Bempton Cliffs is a must and Wolds Way lavender farm was a real treat. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay at Sandy Bottoms.

Lovely flat in ideal position.. Lots of space generaly although Kitchen, while well equiped, is rather cramped and has limited work surfaces, may be an issue for if 6 people were staying.
