Mallard Cottage is a delightful, semi-detached cottage set on the outskirts of Whitby in North Yorkshire. With one ground floor twin with en-suite wet room and one mezzanine king-size double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, this cottage can sleep four people. There's also an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburner, while outside, there is an enclosed patio garden with furniture, plus off road parking for one car. Whitby in North Yorkshire remains one of the regions most popular tourist hotspots, and with good reason. The town is at the mouth of the River Esk, and this old fishing port retains mush character in its winding streets and hidden alleys. There is a picturesque harbour, sandy beach and the famous Whitby Abbey. Close to other seaside destinations such as Scarborough, Staithes and Robin Hood's Bay, Whitby is also ideally placed for heading inland and exploring the beautiful countryside of the North York Moors National Park.
