Lavender House is a lovely terraced Victorian property, residing in the lively seaside town of Whitby in North Yorkshire. It comprises four bedrooms over four floors; two twins, a king-size double with an en-suite Jack-and-Jill shower room and a double with an en-suite shower, sleeping eight guests. There are two sitting rooms as well as a kitchen/diner, a wet room and a bathroom with a separate WC. To the outside is roadside parking on a first come, first served basis, a front lawn and a rear enclosed courtyard. Lavender House is a delightful base in a wonderful region of England.

Area
Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is ideally situated for exploring this beautiful part of Yorkshire, with its coastline and close proximity to the North York Moors. Whitby is a charming and atmospheric town of winding streets and hidden alleys, with a picturesque harbour, safe sandy beaches and of course the Abbey, reached by the famous 199 steps.

Region
The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
