This attractive, stone semi-detached barn conversion is on a working farm just a mile from Whitby and offers bright and cheerful accommodation for a family holiday. The rooms are all on the ground floor and on open plan, there is a well equipped kitchen and a comfortable and inviting sitting room, just right for a relaxing evening. A generous dining area completes the living space. The two bedrooms are light and airy and have exposed beams giving plenty of character and appeal. There is a modern and well-appointed bathroom, whilst outside is a charming lawned garden with a patio and furniture. This property is a super base from which to discover this wonderful area and all the attractions and activities it has to offer. Area
The ancient fishing port of Whitby lies at the mouth of the River Esk and is well placed for exploring this wonderful part of Yorkshire, with its dramatic coastline and the magnificent North York Moors. Whitby is an atmospheric town and Bram Stoker found inspiration for his classic gothic novel 'Dracula' here. The spectacular cliff top 13th Century Abbey dominates the town and is well worth visiting. Whitby developed as a fishing port in the middle ages and the history of the fishing industry can be charted in the town museum. There are a variety of shops and eateries in Whitby and other attractions in the area can be found close by, from fishing to walking one of the many trails. Whitby makes a fabulous holiday base.

The North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers.
