From here, you can follow the sand (tides permitting) to the centre of Whitby in just under an hour, scanning for fossils and paddling in the sea as you go. Also upstairs, the kitchen is a delight to cook in with everything you need for self-catering. From up here, you get great views of the estate, out over the hay meadow.
