The cottage offers a double, a twin and a family bathroom, along with a bright and airy open plan living area featuring a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with an electric fire. Outside, there are communal gardens to the front and rear and off road parking for one car. Area
The beautiful market town of Pickering is located on the North Yorkshire Moors National Park border. According to town legend, it was founded by Peredurus, a king who ruled during 270 BC. Pickering is filled with flowing streams and limestone hills, creating a spectacular and dramatic backdrop. For evenings out, the town has plenty of theatres, leisure centres and live music; an annual Jazz Festival is held during the month of July. Nature lovers will find Pickering especially appealing with its breathtaking landmarks, such as Dalby Forest, which is home to a variety of beautiful trees and animals such as the nightjar bird and roe deer. Another wonderful conservational must-see is the North Yorkshire Moors National Park itself, consisting of miles of stunning and unspoilt countryside. Tourists will love a taste of royalty by visiting Pickering Castle. The castle was built in Motte and Bailey style during the 13th and 14th centuries and later fortified in stone.
