Osmotherley, a North Yorkshire conservation village nestled between the Cleveland Hills to the east and the Yorkshire Dales to the west, has grass and tree-lined streets and sits on the western fringe of the North York Moors National Park. The Cleveland Way and the Coast-to-Coast long-distance footpaths both pass through Osmotherley, and it's also the starting point (or ending point!) of the famed Lyke Wake Walk. Osmotherley is a charming stone-built village with three pubs, a charming coffee shop, a well-stocked general store, and a fish and chip shop centred around an old village cross.
