Middleham s amenities are on the doorstep, the village's picturesque cobbled streets are home to old traditional pubs, local eateries, a convenience store, fish and chip takeaway, a fine dining restaurant and an abundance of walks and trails.

Middleham is famous for its racehorses and several trainers including Mark Johnson are based here. Just a short drive away is Hawes, where guests can visit the Dales Countryside Museum, Jervaulx Abbey, Wensleydale Creamery and Aysgarth Falls and the Forbidden Corner, a four acre garden with a labyrinth of tunnels, follies and other surprises.
