The Wolds scenery is breathtaking with rolling chalk hills and valleys, situated south of the North Yorkshire Moors, another spot perfect for picnics and a favourite with the artist David Hockney. In the spring and summertime, the cliffs at Bempton host important numbers of breeding seabirds which is only a short drive away.
