Far Barn is a lovely barn conversion boasting lots of character, set on the outskirts of Fakenham, in Norfolk. There are three bedrooms; a ground floor double, a ground floor adult bunk room and a mezzanine double with a bath, basin and WC, sleeping six altogether. There is also a ground floor wet room with a walk-in shower and an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside is off-road parking for one car, a second car can be parked just outside the main gates on some communal space by the pond, a lockable bike shed and an enclosed garden with decking area, BBQ and patio furniture. Far Barn offers a superb break to East Anglia, with the whole of the coast and Norfolk Broads within easy reach.

Area
Fakenham is famous for its horse racing and offers a series of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Often referred to as the Gateway to Norfolk this town is ideal for exploring this beautiful county. Wells-next-the-Sea, Holkham and Burham Overy are close by, for a lovely day out to the coast, with beaches, birdwatching and miles of pine forests.

Region
Picturesque rolling Fens, unspoilt beaches, and pretty waterways – East Anglia is a dream holiday destination. Norfolk offers beaches, saltmarshes and quaint villages whilst equally as charming are the coast and countryside of Suffolk.

Just got back from a wonderful stay at Far Barn. What a Gem couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay for exploring Norfolk (the weather was exceptional) full of quality items good stock of kitchen equipment. The garden was very dog friendly.even a complimentary bottle of wine. The ducks were entertaining we all loved feeding them. Would highly recommend this cottage.

We have just come back from a holiday in Fakenham and stayed at far barn, what a little gem, nothing was too far away and the place was very sweet with quality extras throughout, a little welcome basket with wine and biscuits along with a fridge full of magnets that guest are encouraged to add to, to show where you have been! I love the open living room to kitchen plan and the garden is lovely and dog friendly. The pond with the ducks is very sweet with a pot of duck feed to feed them with! (Although I would say don’t throw the duck feed from the window as the neighbours get upset!) overall a lovely stay and a quality cottage!

Great location to visit all the lovely market towns and seaside beaches in this part of Norfolk. Very tastefully decorated with real style and comfort. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 x large dogs. Beautiful setting on farm estate. Excellent field close by 3 min walk, for morning and evening dog walking.
