This is a brilliant walking area with the coastal path offering easy access via Totland Bay and Alum Bay to The Needles on the western tip of the Isle of Wight, and the beautiful Tennyson Down which drops down into Freshwater Bay. Colwell Bay is a quiet coastal spot with a sandy beach at low tide where visitors can swim and paddle.
