Area Freshwater is situated at the western tip of the Isle of Wight and is home to Freshwater Village and Freshwater Bay. Freshwater village offers a selection of independent shops, cafes and the West Wight Sports Centre and Indoor Swimming Pool. The high cliffs, rolling downs and beaches at Freshwater Bay and nearby Compton Bay attract many visitors and surfers all year round. The renowned Freshwater Bay Golf Club, which overlooks the English Channel has coastal sea views from most tees and offers a day out for golfers of all abilities, whilst the area is a haven for birdwatchers, cyclists and walkers with walks to be enjoyed not only on West Wight but across the entire Isle of Wight criss-crossing over a much varied island landscape.
Region The Isle of Wight, with its beaches, unspoiled scenery, rich heritage and over 500 miles of award-winning public footpaths is a walker’s paradise, or if sailing is your thing, the renowned annual Cowes Week is not to be missed.

Very nice property with lots of extras.. However the mattress in the main bedroom needs replacing as is very saggy and lumpy and we couldn't sleep in there. Apart from that, a very nice place to stay
